Classic Thompson SMG, US Model 1928 manufactured by Auto-Ordnance Corporation, in West Hurley, NY. 28 rib finned bbl. Terminated w/ Cutts compensator. Vertical wood forearm. Front blade sight integral w/ compensator & rear is adj. Lyman graduated sight. Hardwood, rear shoulder stock w/ trapdoor butt plate. Sling swivel at 6 O’clock below shoulder stock. Slotted top mounted, knurled cocking knob. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Left side receiver markings are as follows: “U.S. Model 1928” / Thompson Submachine Gun”, “Caliber 45 M1″. Serial number line, below the model line. Right side markings include patent block on rear of receiver & “Auto-Ordnance Corporation /”, West Hurley, New York, U.S.A.”. MAGS: None.
