1) NAVY. A nice example of a Civil War period Confederate Naval Officer’s button. This button was mfg. in England & imported through blockade runners to the Confederacy. Albert # CS-52-A. Face depicts crossed cannons superimposed by a fouled anchor w/ “CSN” below. The reverse is marked, “FIRMIN & SONS .153 STRAND LONDON. &13 CONDUIT.ST “. Full shank is slightly bent.

2) NAVY. A nice example of a Civil War period Confederate Naval Officer’s button. This button was mfg. in England & imported through blockade runners to the Confederacy. Albert # CS-54-A. Face depicts crossed cannons superimposed by a fouled anchor w/ “CSN” below. The reverse is marked, “COURTNEY & TENNENT . S.C . CHARLESTON.”. Full shank is slightly bent.

3) NORTH CAROLINA. A superb example of a locally mfg. North Carolina button utilized by Confederate militia forces. Albert # NC-8-D-TYPE. Face depicts the State Seal of North Carolina & the reverse has a blank depressed channel. Full straight shank.

4) NORTH CAROLINA. A very fine example of a locally mfg. North Carolina button utilized by Confederate militia forces. Albert # NC-8-A. Face depicts the State Seal of North Carolina & the reverse is marked, RMDC “S.A.MYERS RICHMOND VA. “. Full straight shank. 

5) GEORGIA. A fine example of a pre Civil War mfg. Georgia militia button utilized by Confederate forces. Albert # GA-4-A1. Face depicts the State Seal of Georgia. The reverse is marked, “HORSTMANN & ALLIEN . N Y . (rays)“. Full straight shank.

6) GEORGIA. A rare example of a pre Civil War mfg. Georgia militia button utilized by Confederate forces. Albert # GA-3-A. Face depicts the State Seal of Georgia. The reverse is marked, RMDC “W.G.MINTZER (star) PHILA. “. Full slightly bent shank.
