Case hardened Model 1890s in high condition are very desirable as blued finish became the standard beginning in 1901. Bbl. is 24″ oct with sporting sights. Case hardened takedown receiver and hammer. Blued bbl, mag tube & bolt. 12-groove walnut slide handle and straight grip. Stock with crescent steel buttplate. Upper tang marked “WINCHESTER / – MODEL 1890 -“. Top bbl flat stamped with two line Winchester address & “22 SHORT”. This a very attractive antique case hardened 2nd Model. ANTIQUE GUN
