Made in 1983 this well made shotgun appears to be a model XXV sidelock; however barrels are 27″ long most likely special ordered as were most other features available in that model. Both 27″ chopper lump barrel sets are fitted with raised Churchill type ribs gold inlaid “AYA” at breech ends. Tops of right barrels are engraved with maker’s name and “MADE IN SPAIN”. Barrel flats are stamped with Spanish nitro proofs and date code “C2″ (1983). Bottoms of barrels have choke markings for IC and Mod. Small frame case hardened hand detachable sidelock action features automatic safety, bushed strikers, gold line tumbler end cocking indicators and single non-selective trigger. Action and lockplates are engraved with full coverage simple scroll. Maker’s name is on each lockplate. Blued trigger guard with scroll on bow has S# on tang. Straight grip buttstock made of lightly fiddle figured and well streaked European walnut measures 14-5/8″ over basketweave rifle pad. Stock features drop points, flat top checkering on diamond hand and vacant silver oval on toeline. Each barrel set is fitted with its own long beavertail ejector forend with Deeley release.
