Standard configuration, 7.5” rnd bbl with 1 line New York address, British proofs on left side of housing, German silver crescent front sight, integral notch rear sight, ejector housing w/ knurled ejector rod head. Ormsby Naval battle scene rolled cylinder w/ British proofs. Blued bbl & cyl, case colored hammer & frame, silverplated brass backstrap & triggerguard, varnished walnut grips. Frame has no patent dates & tiny serial numbers point to this being very early production. Most production is rimfire but this revolver only chambers “44 Russian” cartridge.
