Lot 3389 (pictured below) features a stunning exhibition quality Cavalry configuration Single Action Army commemorating Custer’s Last Stand by FEGA and Colt Master Engraver, Mike Dubber. The former President of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America has engraved for Colt, Holland & Holland and Purdey. This exceptional piece earned one of Dubber’s six Howard Dove awards for Best Engraved Colt at the 2013 All Colt Show.

The 2010 FEGA Engravers Choice Award winning Uberti Henry by FEGA Master Engraver, Lee Griffiths will be offered as Lot 3393A. This is engraved in a Union vs. Confederacy theme. A three-time winner of the award along with numerous others, Lee Griffiths’ commissioned work is renowned for its exceptional quality & meticulous detail.

Another beautifully engraved and inlaid Colt SAA by Michael Dubber will hit the auction block as Lot 3391.

Lot 3390 is a one of a kind engraved 2 nd Gen Sheriff’s model factory engraved by Howard Dove in an oak leaf and acorn pattern. He was one of only 2 individuals to ever be employed by the Colt Custom Shop & Winchester Custom Shop at the same time and was known as The Official Engraver of the Colt Collector’s Association as he engraved a total of 6 show guns. Following his untimely passing, the Colt Collector’s Association dedicated an annual award at their yearly convention for “Best Engraved Colt” known as “The Howard Dove Award”.

Lot 3391A will be the “Hollywood” gripped “Silver Screen Six Shooter” Colt Official Police engraved by Mike Dubber in the style of noted Colt Factory Engraver, Wilbur Glahn.
