Notes: Samuel Griswold first manufactured infantry pikes for the Confederacy in 1862. Shortly after he began venturing into revolver production. No confederate maker produced a larger quantity than Griswold and few could produce the same level of quality. C.S.A contracted Griswold until the factory was destroyed by Union forces in November, 1864.
