Bbl. 36 1/2″. Barleycorn front sight w/ 800yd. graduated leaf rear sight. Breech end of bbl., chamber & breech block have British proof & acceptance marks. Case colored breech block, lock & hammer. Lockplate marked w/ crown over “B.R.” behind hammer & “1885 / TOWER” in front of hammer. 3 Band walnut stock w/ brass musket buttplate, trigger guard, sideplate escutcheons & nose cap. Left ear of stock stamped “W.R”. Toeline of stock has 2 acceptance marks. Slotted tip iron ramrod.
