Scarce Military contract. Although 50,000 units were procured in 1916, very few matching rigs are now available. According to Jan Still’s forum, fewer than 20 reported. Bbl. 5 1/2″ w/ inverted V front sight & 50-1000 tangent rear. Matching numbers on externally visible parts plus floorplate & 32 groove grips. Austrian “W-n” eagle “15” proof on right chamber flat. Crown U proofs on left side of barrel extension and top rear of bolt. Mauser legend on right side of frame & over chamber. Original fire blue on trigger, safety, extractor, cursor & bolt stop.
