Bbls. 30″ of proof steel w/ factory VR marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER”. Steel front bead w/ steel mid bead. Aftermarket Briley thin wall choke tubes. Coin finished flat side custom engraved boxlock action w/ full coverage vine type foliate scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid pheasants on sides & floorplate. Engraving extends to top lever, trigger guard, forearm iron & breech end of bbls. Gold trim includes bands & highlights on bbls., as well as inlaid S# & selector trigger markings. Engraver’s signature “C MILLS” is found on floorplate behind trigger. CA Superior Court Judge Cecil J. Mills studied engraving at Trinidad Junior College in CO & under famed FN engraver Angelo Bee. Gold plated SST. Selective ejectors. Water table of the action & bbls. along w/ inside of floorplate & trigger have machine jeweling. Original ebony tipped beavertail forearm has style A carving & is serial numbered to the gun. Custom trap dimension Monte Carlo stock of fancy Claro walnut having orange & dark tones. Stock has a wide forward sweeping grip cap of contrasting wood & borderless segmented hand checkering.
MEASUREMENTS: LOP: 13 7/8″ over a solid black Kick-eez pad. DAC: 1 11/16″. DAMC: 1 5/8″. DAH: 2 3/16″. Stock has approx. 1/4″ of cast off. WEIGHT: 8 lbs., 1 oz.
