1967 Belgium mfg.
Bbls. 26 1/2″ w/ hand matted VR. Fixed skeet & skeet chokes. White target front sight w/ white bead. Left side is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY ST. LOUIS Mo MONTREAL P.Q.”. Coin finished boxlock action has custom D5G full coverage engraving w/ engraver’s signature “Reimer” found on floorplate behind trigger. Deep relief rose & foliate scroll engraving w/ shaded backgrounds extending to top lever, trigger guard, forearm iron & breech section of bbls. Ron Reimer studied Gunsmithing at the Colorado School of Trades in 1977. Accepted a job w/ Herters in 1979. In 1990, he began working for Browning in Arnold, MO where he learned engraving restoring salt wood guns. This master engraver retired in 2011 & moved to western Wyoming, where he still engraves Brownings & select firearms. Gold finished SST. Selective ejectors. Lightning forearm & rnd. knob short tang stock of gloss finished exhibition grade walnut w/ elaborate hand checkering.
MEASUREMENTS: LOP: 14 1/8″ over a Pachmayr Presentation pad. DAC: 1 1/2″ DAH: 2 3/16″. Near neutral cast. WEIGHT: 6 LBS., 11 oz.
