Standard configuration of unusual dbl. hammer for superposed loads. These guns were marketed early in the war as having a lot of fire power in a little pistol & 2 shots from a single bbl. Bbl. housing is finely engraved w/ 5 line maker’s mark & lg. engraved patriotic panel w/ flags, eagle, lion & NY state seal. Additional patent marks are found on bottom of bbl.
