VERY RARE CONFEDERATE SQUARE “CS” SWORD BELT PLATE.

This excavated “rarity 10” CS plate is rarely seen and no doubt first to ever appear in auction. Many of us remember it in Don Phillips award winning collection displays at Civil War shows over the years. Buckle with integral keeper measures 70mm x 54mm. This buckle was excavated at camp or battlefield not listed on letter of authenticity by Rafael Eledge which accompanies this lot.
