WINCHESTER 1903 ULRICH ENGRAVED SILVER FINISHED DELUXE SELF LOADING RIFLE.

This beautiful rifle was factory engraved by Alden George Ulrich. George Ulrich was an in house engraved until his sudden death in 1949. Left side has the familiar squirrel scene with the rabbit scene on the right. The surrounding borders and scroll are indicative of Ulrich’s work and extend to top and bottom areas as well as the forend cap. The action, forend cap and crescent steel buttplate are silver finished. The 20″ barrel has blue finish with original bead front and No. 40A rear sights. The forearm and fancy walnut deluxe pistol grip stock feature style “H” checkering and a small hard rubber grip cap.
Between 1903 and 1936 an estimated 126,000 M1903’s were produced. The serial number of this rifle indicates 1915 mfg.
