Extraordinarily rare System Mauser cutaway w/ fixed front & rear sights having 5.5″ bbl. & thin backstrap without stock slot. Hand engraved “SYSTEM MAUSER” on top of chamber. Crown / “C” / “U” on left side of bbl extension. Long extractor, separately retained firing pin, solid rails & rounded front strap as usual for Mauser’s earliest production pistols. Cone hammer w/ 1st variation safety. 2 Lug locking system. Checkered walnut grips. Lanyard ring present. Disassembly shows all matching numbers including firing pin, follower, locking block & each of the solid grip panels.
