Outstanding full coverage engraving by world renowned Belgium-trained master engraver Angelo Bee. Coin finished action & fittings. Right side woodland scene features a gold & silver inlaid eagle pursuing a gold rabbit. Left scene portrays a gold & silver fox w/ flushing partridge. Top of receiver portrays a gold portrait of a hunting dog accented by a hammer finished oval ring. Balance of receiver top & sides are covered w/ vine type foliate scroll accented by dark shaded backgrounds that continue to top tang & trigger guard. Forearm cap has matching scroll w/ hammer finished accents. Crescent steel buttplate is scroll engraved at heel & toe. Bbl. 20” round. Bead front sight w/ original screw adj. U notch rear sight. Gold finished trigger. Custom forearm & straight grip stock of gloss finished fancy walnut w/ hand checkering. Mag. tube inserts through buttplate & loads through right side of stock. Mfg. 1924.
