Outstanding British Proofed Winchester 1890 2nd Model Slide Action Rifle.

Bbl. longer 24 3/8” octagon as found on 1st model rifles. Early 2nd model case colored takedown action. Left side of bbl. & receiver have British proofs. Blade front sight w/ fixed flat top U notch rear sight. Standard tubular mag. Small round grooved slide handle w/ straight grip walnut stock having crescent steel buttplate. Serial number indicates 1893 mfg.
UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: leather covered rifle case w/ burgundy felt interior. Exterior of case marked w/ initials “D.A.C.”. Interior case lid label marked “HENRY ATKIN, LTD/GUNMAKERS/88, JERMAYN STREET,/St. JAMES’S,/LONDON,S.W.I.”. Case contains leather straps & cord style bore cleaner.
