Fine “As Found” Atlanta Made Wood Scabbard Cavalry Saber

02-19156

Fine “as found” Hammond Marshall made saber at his Atlanta Sword Factory. 33.25″ very slightly curved unstopped fuller blade.

Distinctive short heavy pommel and brass ferrule at base of grip, light cavalry 1860 style branched hilt. Unique Marshall scabbard is made from 2 wood slabs carved to perfectly fit each blade (swords & scabbards don’t interchange) & pinned with japanned sheet iron mounts & brass rings.

The grip is about as fine as found with much of its original polish. Survival on these sabers in unmolested condition is rare.
