Oil on canvas depicts a frigate under full sail in a brisk wind, other smaller ships behind, a shoreline in the mid distance under thin clouds and blue sky. Signed lower right “J.E. Buttersworth”. Housed in an ornate gilt gesso and wood frame.
SIZE: 17″ x 21″. Overall is 25″ x 29″.
