Circa 1883. After a painting by C.R. Parsons, the lithograph for the Boston and Bangor Steamship Co and additionally titled “ONE OF THE FLEET FORMING THE LINE BETWEEN BOSTON, BANGOR & MT. DESERT.”. Beneath the image lower left “COPYRIGHT 1883, BY CURRIER & IVES, N.Y.”. Below the lower right margin “PRINTED IN OIL COLORS BY CURRIER & IVES, 115 NASSAU ST. NEW YORK”. Housed under glass in its original molded frame, engraved on lower molding “BOSTON & BANGOR S.S. CO.”
