Bbl. 30″ with matte rib having improved mod and full chokes. White Bradley style front sight. Top of rib is marked “CUSTOM BUILT BY WINCHESTER FOR E.J. HERMAN”. Flatside action with no. 1 factory engraving. Gold finished single selective trigger. Selective ejectors. Water tables of bbls. and frame along with inside of forearm and ejectors are machine jeweled. Ebony tipped beavertail forearm and steel capped pistol grip stock of fancy walnut with point pattern checkering. Toeline of stock has gold presentation plate with initials “E.J.H.”. LOP: 14″ over original red ventilated Winchester pad. DAH: 2 1/2″. DAC: 1 9/16″. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Cody Firearms Museum letter stating the following information, “Custom Grade / Symbol: G21CG 20 gauge / Barrel Length: 30 inches / Right Barrel: Improved Modified, Left Barrel: Full / Chamber: 3 inches Matte rib / Sights: Bradley ivory front, No middle sight / Automatic safety / Pistol grip stock checkered with Winchester recoil pad / Field style beavertail – black insert tip / Gold oval name plate on underside – EJH / Pull – 14 in., Drop at heel – 2-1/2 in., Drop at comb – 1-9/16 in. / Custom built for E.J. Herman / Gun case – Less gun case marked elsewhere on sheet / Order number: 12-030-08A / Charge symbol: 3011-000-9364 / Inspection started: October 10, 1966 / Inspection finished: November 2, 1966”. Original Italian Negrini green molded case with fitted brown interior. Winchester cardboard box has yellow label marked “MODEL 21/CUSTOM BUILT FOR”. Label is not marked with name or serial number.
