OUTSTANDING & RARE PARKER VH 410 SINGLE TRIGGER SXS SHOTGUN IN HIGH ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH LETTER

Bbls. 26″ Vulcan steel. According to page 258 of “The Parker Story” only 463 VH grade Parkers were manufactured in this configuration. Additionally, found on the same page Single triggers appear on 3% of the entire VH production, making this an exceptionally rare Parker in high original condition to boot. Fixed full & full chokes. Steel front bead. Case colored boxlock desirable 000 frame action. Bottom of receiver is marked “PARKER” & has typical V grade borderline engraving. Gun features a desirable single selective trigger. Extractors. Splinter forearm & hard rubber capped pistol grip walnut stock w/ hand checkering having name shield in toeline. LOP: 13 7/8″ over the original dog’s head hard rubber buttplate. DAC: 1 3/8″. DAH: 2 5/8″. Neutral cast. WEIGHT: 5 lbs, 13.4 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: letter from the Parker Gun Collectors Association Inc., detailing the following information, “Parker shotgun, serial number 240794, was ordered by the Kirtland Bros. Co. and shipped in April, 1937. According to the Remington IBM Card, it was a VH hammerless .410 and a single trigger. It featured fluid steel barrels with a length of 26 inches. The stock dimensions, chokes, an butt treatment are not listed in the Remington IBM card book.”. CONDITION: very nice original gun, bbls. retain 97% blue showing slight muzzle & edge wear. Action retains 80% bright original case colors showing slight wear & silvering in carry areas. Original wood finish shows small scratches, marks & wear spots. Very good bright bores. A fantastic specimen that would be an exemplary addition to any advanced Parker collection.
