SUPERB KREIGHOFF K80 CROWN GRADE TRAP SINGLE DOUBLE COMBO WITH CASE

The 34″ uni-single trap barrel with adjustable high ventilated rib and 30″ O/U barrels with ventilated rib and no side ribs are fitted with screw chokes. Maker’s info is on the left side of the top barrels. The coin-finished K80 action with non-automatic safety and a gold-plated single selective release/release trigger adjustable for length is engraved in crown-grade style with full coverage and a very well-cut, large open-shaded scroll that surrounds game scenes on the sides. The major subjects of these scenes are relief gold inlaid. A gold pointer watches three departing pheasants at the edge of woodland on the left side of the action, and a similar pointer watches three quail flush on the right. The bottom of the action has a relief gold-inlaid crown over the central shield device with “KREIGHOFF,” “K-80,” and “EST. 1886” in gold. This fine engraving is signed “Scheerschmidt,” a Kreighoff master engraver. Pistol grip buttstock made of a fine piece of wonderfully marbled and lightly figured European walnut measures 14-1/2″ over a black Kick-Eez pad. The stock is fitted with an adjustable comb and has point pattern checkering on the grip with an ambidextrous palm swell. Matching target end has Deeley release. WEIGHT with O/U barrels: 9 lb. 0 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes with Kreighoff-marked aluminum Americase lined in blue velvet with gold-stitched Kreighoff information on the lid. The case contains 4 choke tubes, 2 of which are extended (3 are in barrels for a total of 7), a tube wrench, a stock removal tool, and 3 snap caps. CONDITION: very fine, with only a few very minor handling and assembly marks in all factory finishes, mostly found on wood. Bores are bright and shiny. Action is tight. Mechanically crisp. The case is good. Interior cloth has some compression. WARNING: trigger is release/release, NOT PLACARDED. This spectacular combo presently retails for over $55,000.
