Full standing view, NYC mount. Wearing buckskins and signature flat brimmed hat. Inscribed at bottom: “MY birth day Mar. 4th 1896 49 & to da[te] / yours in clouds or sunshine. / J W Crawford / ‘Capt. Jack'”. In 1896 Crawford was the “Cowboy Poet”.
