CIVIL WAR ERA NEEDHAM BROTHERS “AMERICAN BOWIE KNIFE”

11″ overall, 7” spear point blade fully etched with patriotic American mottos so popular among Union soldiers early in the war. The bright etched blade has a large American eagle and “AMERICAN BOWIE KNIFE” along with other patriotic mottos. Ricasso is Sheffield maker marked Needham Brothers, full tang, German silver mounted, horn slab grips.
