Standard configuration of rifle made 1865-1867. 30″ 6-land & groove rifled barrel stamped “M 1865”, 4 line address “SPENCER REPEATING / RIFLE CO. BOSTON / PAT’D MARCH 6 1860” stamped on breech. This is a very fine survivor retaining most of its original finish and shows little if any use. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of John “Jack” Dhooghe. STATUS: ANTIQUE.
