25-5794 | Cal. 22 LR. | S# 1171. | Bbl. 6″ with blade front sight.

A revolver fit for the silver screen, mfg. 1930 and subsequently upgraded by FEGA Master Engraver Mike Dubber. All metal surfaces feature 85% coverage of hand engraving executed in the style of legendary Colt engraver Wilbur Glahn’s floral scroll over fine punch dot background, which Glahn developed in the early 1900’s. Frame & bbl. are silver plated with engraving masterfully “ink and baked”, dramatically enhancing contrast. Ejector rod head, cylinder and cylinder release are blued. Revolver is tastefully accented with nitre blued trigger, hammer, lanyard loop and screws. Front of trigger guard bears engraver’s signature “DUBBER”. Revolver is stocked with striking white Holly wood grips, the whitest of all natural woods. Inset in each panel are nickeled Rampant Colt medallions. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: hinged, compartmentalized hardwood case lined with a silver/gray suede. Interior of lid set with engraved Master Plate dedication reading “COLT / OFFICIAL POLICE / SERIAL NO. 1171 MFG. 1930 / .22 LR / M.W. DUBBER-MASTER ENGRAVER”. Interior edges of lid lined with silver cord. Case contains engraved oil bottle, wood handled Colt’s patent screw driver and 2 oz. .925 Samuel Colt Silver Commemorative Medallion, Serial No. 114, along with a military style lanyard. Master letter signed by the engraver detailing work performed along with contributing artists John Powers & HB Norris. Crafted to shine like a Hollywood icon, this revolver is ready for its closeup: LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION! STATUS: CURIO.
