KRIEGHOFF MODEL 32 CROWN GRADE FOUR GAUGE SKEET O/U SHOTGUN

All four barrel sets are numbered to the receiver. All are 28″ with ventilated ribs and open side ribs. All have fixed skeet and skeet chokes. All have white target front sights with brass mid beads. The 12 gauge and 20 gauge barrel sets have slotted porting. Boxlock action has striking full coverage hand engraving consisting of deep relief vine type foliate scroll surrounding game scenes with detailed gold inlaid figures. Right side scene depicts six flying doves. Left scene pictures two pointing dogs with four flushing quail. Floorplate marsh scene depicts two landing mallards below a gold inlaid crown and gold “KREIGHOFF / MODEL 32” markings. Top lever also has a gold crown. Receiver panels and scenes are bordered by gold wire inlay. The forearm iron has matching engraving with gold wire borders. All four barrel sets have wedges and borders of matching engraving on breech ends with gold wire highlights at both breech and muzzle ends. Caliber markings on top of ribs are gold inlaid. Left side at lower edge of the game scene has engraver’s initials “H S”. Gold finished SST. Selective ejectors. Non-automatic safety. Custom beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock of fancy gloss finished walnut have elaborate segmented fleur-de-lis hand checkering. Stock has a flared rosewood grip cap with brass diamond having finely engraved borders. LOP: 14 5/8″ over a solid brown Decelerator pad and 1/4″ spacer. DAC: 1 5/8″ DAH: 2 3/16″. Stock has a very slight cast on. Weight with 410 barrels: 8 lbs, 5 oz. Approximately 400 Crown Grade 32s were manufactured. Production ended in 1983. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Nasco aluminum four barrel set case with blue fitted interior. Case contains extra barrels, container of grease and two soft bristle cleaning brushes. Case shows expected wear from years of use. PROVENANCE: Estate of Lloyd Robinson. STATUS: MODERN.
