VERY RARE & DESIRABLE AIR FORCE ISSUED M110 KAC SEMI AUTO SNIPER RIFLE
25-6189 | Cal. 7.62×51. | S# 05676. | Bbl. 20″ with flash hider.
Actual military issued examples of the M110 are very rarely offered on the public market & this rifle represents a great chance the advanced military collector to acquire an original as issued M110 with US government roll markings. As far as this cataloger is aware this is the only the second time an Air Force issue M110 has been offered for sale at public auction. Right side of lower has KAC Titusville, FL markings. The AR-10 based M110 has been used by the US military since 2008, as both a sniper & marksman rifle. This weapons system has seen wide spread use in various Middle Eastern conflicts. Rifle is sighted with a FDE finish Leupold MK4 3.5-10x power scope on a Knight’s Armament mount. Scope has mil-dot crosshair reticle & very good optics. Rifle is also equipped with a folding KAC aperture rear sight but no front iron sight is present. Right handed FDE charging handle. Safety, mag release & bolt release are all ambi. Bbl. & flash hider have a gray appearance with traces of FDE finish. Balance of metal has FDE finish. Magpul PRS stock & A2 style FDE pistol grip. KAC URX II quadrail handguard with three rail covers & Harris SBRM bipod. MAGS: 4-10 rd. & 4-20 rd. Total of 8. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: matching numbered Hardig case with two military manuals, 25 meter zeroing target, CMP Certificate of Authenticity stating the rifle is indeed a US Military issued rifle, a 2014 dated KAC test target, other CMP paperwork, four single mag pouches, one dual mag pouch, a large scope pouch & Otis cleaning kit. Also included is a document stating this gun was shipped from Picatinny arsenal to the Anniston Army depot in 2014. The document further states that it was later shipped from Anniston to the 355th Logistics Readiness Squadron in 2021 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. It is highly likely this rifle was issued to either Air Force Pararescue, as the 48th Rescue Squadron are stationed at Davis-Monthan or the 355th Security Forces Squadron sniper teams. STATUS: MODERN.
