FULLY TRANSFERABLE ERMA EMP GERMAN SUBMACHINE GUN

The Erma EMP (Erma Maschinenpistole) Submachine Gun was designed by Heinrich Vollmer in the late 1920’s to early 1930’s & produced from 1935-1938. While the majority of the EMP’s were sold for export, some examples were used by German Police & the SS. This example carries several commercial proof marks consisting of the letter “N” below an eagle. Serial number, “18491” resides on the rear of the receiver w/ “EMP” above the trigger, as well as on the bottom of the magazine well, where the letters “WC” reside above it. The latter, “WC18491″ was selected for the serial umber in the NFA registry. Blued finish on exposed metal surfaces. Exposed blade front sight at the muzzle, forward of the 8” slotted barrel shroud. The magazine well presents the magazine from the left side, w/ the ejection port to the right. Safety is located above the vertical forward pistol grip, locking the action when employed. Dual leaf rear notch sight marked for 100 meters & 200 meters. Selector located on right side, above of the trigger guard. MAGS: 2 steel 20 rd. NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT MG REQUIRING BATF TRANSFER BEFORE TAKING POSSESSION. FULLY TRANSFERABLE. STATUS: CURIO CLASS III.
