MFG: Pair of German silver mounted & barreled English made pistols by William Chance & son circa 1850. Chance used this particular lock address 1842 to 1856.

Engraving: Floral & arabesque scroll on locks, hammers, breeches, 2″ belt hooks, trigger guards & hinged butt caps.

Notes: The most unusual feature of theses guns is the name on top of the bbls. “E P FOURNIQUET” who was known to have owned a plantation in Claiborn County, Miss. & was a member of the 1st Miss. cavalry.
