Classic College Hill, Nashville, Tenn made staff with large gilded branched guard with “CSA” cast. 30” pen-knife blade, etching covers much of blade with long vacant presentation panel. Patriotic motifs include: 1st national CS flag, large block “CSA”, Palmetto tree with snake wrapped around trunk; stylized tobacco plant with leaves & berries and stalk of corn representing agricultural wealth of the South. Unique top scabbard mount is angled to fit guard and has sword ring attached at bottom, not seen on makers other than College Hill.
