Bbl. 24″ oct. Third model action has No. 8 pattern full coverage factory engraving. Vignette on right side of receiver has upland scene featuring cotton tail rabbits w/ floral backdrop. Left side vignette depicts 2 squirrels in a tree limb setting. Vignettes are surrounded by arabesque scroll engraving & fancy borders that extend to top & bottom of receiver, trigger guard, top tang & breech block. Top tang has open hole for tang sight attachment. Standard length tubular mag. Bead front sight w/ standard V notch sporting rear sight. Grooved slide handle & pistol grip stock of exhibition grade black walnut have outstanding flame grain burl figure. Stock features case colored buttplate w/ engraving at peak, hard rubber grip cap & style “H” hand checkering. 1911 Mfg.
