Barrel: 24 1/4″ octagon w/ integral 15 rd. magazine & rotating shroud for loading.

Stock: Walnut stock w/ brass buttplate having early style rounded heel.

Sights: German silver blade front sight w/ graduated leaf rear sight missing slide.

Markings: Right flat of bbl. at breech end has inspectors initials “C.G.C.” & “H”. Right side of brass frame adjacent to bbl. has inspectors initials “HH”.

Notes: Charles G. Chapman was a civilian employed by Springfield Armory attached to the New Haven Arms Company who inspected U.S. government orders.

Status: Antique
