NYSV. Memorial lists all privates, NCOs & officers & was mustered into service Sept. 27, 1862 at Delhi, NY. 5) Framed soldiers memorial for Company E of the 144th Regt. NYSV. Memorial lists all privates, NCOs & officers & was mustered into service Sept. 27, 1862 at Delhi, NY. 6) Framed soldiers memorial for Company C of the 144th Regt. NYSV. B 144th NYSV from Sept. 27, 1862. 10) Uniform & equipment issue document from March 1864 for various infantry regiments presumably related to the 144th NYSV. 11) Wooden framed stained glass window approx. 31” x 16”. Colors are clear, light amber, opaque blue & opaque white. There is a number “144” in the center of the window. This is said to be the number above the GAR hall of the 144th NYSV. Window has a single panel missing & a few others cracked or broken. 12) Infantry tactics book belonging to Lt. Francis Heinner of Co. A of 144th NYSV. 13) Book titled “Civil War Record of the 144th Regt. N.Y. Volunteer Infantry”. 14) Autograph book w/ pressed sea moss examples given to Mrs. Barton by her son, David Barton of the NY Volunteers. 15) Book titled, “THE TEXAR’S REVENGE OR, NORTH AGAINST SOUTH.” by Jules Vern. 16) Round silver ID badge w/ an artillery man & cannon engraved “Wm. NYSV. 27) 26 CDV images, the vast majority of which are members of the 144th Regt. NYSV. CONDITION: condition varies widely in this lg. lot of relics, photographs & ephemera relating to the 144th. Some items show insect damage, most show some degree of staining. Documents are creased & discolored w/ some losses. Most photographs are clear & undamaged w/ normal fading.
