Engraving: Sideplate is fully engraved “Garde Acheval De Paris”.

Notes: The Horse Guards of Paris were formed as part of the National Guards of Paris on July 15, 1789 under the newly appointed Colonel-General Gilbert de Mortier, Marquis de La Fayette.
