Complete, original, and matching Confederate revolver made in Augusta, GA. Rigdon and Ansley’s are one of only 2 twelve stop cylinder guns made in the Confederacy. The other being the Augusta Machine Works, also made in Augusta, GA. S# 1832 found on all parts normally numbered including bbl, latch, loading arm, cylinder, arbor, frame, trigger guard, back strap and wedge. Revolver was originally found in the accompanying crude, but functional holster made from salvaged leather from old Manassas Virginia collection dating back to the 1960s. “CSA” government acceptance stamped on top of bbl flat and inspector “J” stamped on bottom of trigger guard.
