RARE 7MM MAUSER WINCHESTER MODEL 70 BOLT ACTION CARBINE.

Bbl. 20″ w/ hooded ramp bead front sight & elevator adj. sporting rear sight. Bottom of bbl. is marked “7M/M” w/ “45” date marking. Action has Pre War features including safety, cloverleaf tang & knurled receiver bridge w/out scope attachment holes on rear ring. Bolt body is numbered to rifle. Proper parts include standard mag. box & follower w/ the correct specialized No. 3 mag. spring. Straight comb walnut stock w/ proper 22 LPI hand checkering, sling swivels & checkered steel buttplate. Only 924 Model 70’s were produced in 1945, S# range 49998-50921. 1946 was the last year of production for 7mm Cal. & the Carbine configuration.
