There are only a handful of these large frame 9-shot 12mm pinfire LeMat revolvers with 20gauge percussion shotgun barrel, all are found numbered starting at 3000, only a few hundred thought to of been made, with highest number noted 3214. This is a very fine example retaining much of its original finish with well discerned patent marking and Liege proofs.
