Bbl. 26″ nickel steel w/ solid rib, fixed Full choke & steel bead. Blued action has standard pre War Pigeon grade engraving done by noted Winchester factory engraver George Ulrich, son of Conrad Ulrich. George was an in house engraver at Winchester 1919-1949 & developed many of the standard engraving patterns used on Winchester shotguns. Engraving features woodland scene of setter & pointer w/ 2 flushing patridge on right side, marsh scene & 4 flying mallards on left side. Scenes are surrounded by vine type foliate scroll w/ punch dot backgrounds & fancy borders that continue to receiver top, trigger guard bow & area around S#. Sm. style forearm of fancy walnut w/ Pigeon grade wrap around point pattern hand checkering. Hard rubber capped pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut w/ hand checkering & black diamond inlays on both sides of wrist. LOP: 13 3/4″ over repro. solid red Win. pad.
